Eventhough there is clearly a lot of text to this layout the designer has managed to break it up really well. Maybe by changing the colour of some of the body copy so that it isn't all one tone. Also by including reverse out block in the center of columns it helps to divide it.

Magazine layout, interesting colours, interesting blocks of reverse out and shapes which help to break everything up a bit. Very info graphic feel to it.
