Design Hero no.1

I really love this piece of work. I saw it a couple of months ago and was just amazed. When we were first told we could write our own brief and do whatever we wanted it was this piece of work which really influenced what I wrote for myself. This is definitely the kind of aesthetics I want to produce for my brief.

The designer is: Johnny Kelly.

Another example of his work is called 'procrastination' which is also brilliant.

contents of the green zone

I've just been looking at the content of the website for Natural History Museum (NHM). The museum is separated into four zones: green, blue, orange and red. Each zone consisting of different aspects of natural history. Available on the site is a floor plan of the museum, and then for each zone information is given to explain what bits are included in which zone. I'm now trying to collect all this information together and put it into some issuu documents so that I can flick through and refer to each zone easily, rather than have to keep clicking through links/slide shows. All this information has been taken directly from the site.
