The original channel 4 ident from 1982

An ident from 2009

For my title sequence I want to give the programme a context. The proposed programme will be shown on channel 4 and so I'm going to include the channel's logo/ident before the title sequence begins, as it would happen if it were on TV. It's important that the logo is reminiscient of the original logo from 1982, as this is the logo that appeared during the era of 2-Tone. Rather than using the method that channel 4 used for the blocks to come together, I'm going to use a much simpler one. Both for practical reasons and also because the most recent idents for channel 4 are complex in structure but simple in motion. I plan to give the channel 4 logo a 2-Tone makeover, using a checked pattern.
